Black Bear Hunt Details & Rates:

Below is some Ontario Black Bear hunting information that is helpful to our hunting guests.

Black Bear Hunting Package:

  • Gold Level Bear Hunt: $2000 per person
  • Silver Level Bear Hunt: $1250 per person

    2012 Black Bear hunt success rate was 75% Harvest, 100% Sighting

  • Gold Level Bear Hunt - $2000 per hunter - Includes:
  • Two meals daily
  • Bear tag
  • Transportation to and from stand
  • Active bait/stand
  • Skinning and freezing
  • Lodging for the week
  • Boat and motor with 1 tank gas
  • Non hunting friends can join them at camp for an extra $600 per person

    Silver Level Bear Hunt - $1250 - Includes:

  • Bear tag
  • Active bait/stand
  • Lodging for the week
  • Boat and motor with one tank gas
  • Will be taken to stand on first day of hunt only. Must transport self daily after that.
  • Non hunting friends can come for $450 per person.

    Bear Hunt Dates:

  • We start our bear hunts August 15
  • We run our hunts from Saturday to Saturday
  • Check in 2:00 pm, check out is 10 am.

    Not Included in Fee & Package:

  • Export Fee - $35
  • Non-Resident Bear Hunting Lisense - $219
  • Taxes
  • Firearms Declaration Form (see below)
  • Buy Ontario Fishing & Hunting Licenses & Outdoor Card On-line

    Requirements & Extra Information:

  • 25% Deposit per person required to hold the reservation
  • Rates do not include applicable taxes
  • We can accommodate dog hunters after our baited stand hunts have finished. Call Brad about this!
  • Damages to any equipment beyond normal wear and tear from use will be billed to the guest.

    Please Note: Do not sign your declaration form until the customs agent asks you to.

    What To Bring:

  • Bring a valid hunting license and outdoors card. This is required to issue you a non-resident hunting license.
  • Tree stand (Steps/Rope + Safety belt)
  • Warm Clothes (Never know what the temperature will be)
  • Hunter Orange hat and vest (camo orange is not acceptable in Ontario)
  • Previous hunting license CN or US
  • Weapon of choice, gun, bow or crossbow
  • Soft guncase or bowcase (legal requirement)
  • Scentlock suit/Scent Killer
  • Bug jacket and repellent
  • Rain Gear
  • Extra Footware/Gloves
  • Flash lights (Batteries)
  • Binoculars
  • Coolers & Freezer Bags for meat
  • Hunting knife/sharpener
  • Scentlock suit/Scent Killer
  • Fishing rod and tackle
  • Food & Drink

    Don't forget to bring stuff to cook fsh with. Fishing for tasty Walleyes is awesome at all our camps.
